Waiting for Spring

Peanut’s all snuggled up in bed just waiting for Spring. This picture was taken on November 11, 2009. It wasn’t THAT cold out, but our dogs love to stay warm. When I see him peeking out from under the covers, he reminds me of a little bear in hibernation. You better not wake him ‘til it warms up!
This layout was created on February 20th for Stuff to Scrap’s February 2010 Progressive Scrap Challenge. It was sort of like a speed scrap, but in slow motion. We had to blog hop to find instructions, only one given each day. It was a lot of fun! I can’t wait for the next!
Progressive Scrap Instructions:
» Select 1 picture and 3 papers. Set them aside.
» Pick a Frame for your Pictures and cut one of your paper into strips to use as you want. You must use them though!
» Place one paper as your background then layer the other one over it with part of the background showing. Attach your strips with stitches or other fasteners.
»Place your photo and frame on top of the paper strip. I want the frame or the photo to be connected to the layout using one of the fasteners already on the layout. (So the same fastener you added yesterday should be holding down the paper strip AND the framed photo.)
» Choose 5-8 elements (anything works). Place 3-4 in a cluster in one corner, with at least 2 UNDER the top paper. Place the other elements in a cluster under/on top of the frame/mat.
» Add a 3 word title to your layout. The title can consist of an alpha or a font or a combination of both. You may also add a date & journaling somewhere on your layout if you wish.
» As the last step, this should hopefully wrap your page up nicely! To do that, let’s add a little layering. Take at least one (more if you’d like) more paper. Cut it into at least two shapes (circle, square, heart, star, etc…..). They can be any shape, any size….they can even be different shapes if you’d like. Now, place your paper shapes underneath your framed photo and paper strips.
